more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...A low pressure trough along the
coast will dissipate today. High pressure to the W and NW of the
waters will persist through tonight while slowly weakening. The
high will then shift into the southern waters by Tue and
dissipate by Tue night. A strong cold front will move across the
northern and central waters Tue through Wed, then dissipate as it
moves into the southern waters Wed night. A coastal trough will
redevelop Wed night as strong high pressure builds in from the W
and NW. Both the trough and high will weaken Thu through Fri
night.
